Namascar is an ancient word that means "Inner Salutation to the Divinity within." When applied to a greater Deity or Being, it implies deep veneration. It is a more noble expression of the spiritual greeting, namaste, used by Indian yogis. This meditation initially allows meditators to be aware of their connection to the Soul and the Spirit. Then this regular conscious awareness gradually results to the illumination of the whole personality by the power of the Soul and Spirit. The technique is also designed to facilitate tremendous downpourings of Divine energies from the Divine Self to the Soul and then to the personality. The "connecting cable of light" called the antahkarana, is being constructed. The development of this "consciousness connection" from the personality towards the Higher-Selves- The Soul and Spirit- is very important for the process of enlightenment and higher spiritual initiations. For the beginner, this meditation is an art of building the matrix of the antahkarana, but to the advanced meditator, it is a science of constructing, intensifying and completing the continuous cable of light from the personality towards the Divine Self. In addition, the Higher Self's increasing divine stimulation of the personality enables safer and awakening of your inner powers and faster spiritual development. The Namascar Meditation also includes inner salutations to the Divinity within others, which allows the experience of the true essence of unity with all life. The meditation also offers inner salutation to Great Beings and Spiritual Teachers facilitating the Divine Connection to the Great Ones. This is a spiritual empowerment that accelerates your inner development.
